Different types of Creative Commons licensing indicate whether the work can be freely distributed, modified, or used commercially, and what attributions are required for redistribution of the original or adapted work.<\/p>\n<\/dd>\n<dt data-type=\"glossterm\"><dfn id=\"dfn-digital-artifacts\">digital artifacts<\/dfn><\/dt>\n<dd data-type=\"glossdef\">\n<p>Digital artifact can be of any content types including text, audio, video, image, animation or a combination.<\/p>\n<\/dd>\n<dt data-type=\"glossterm\"><dfn id=\"dfn-oer\">OER<\/dfn><\/dt>\n<dd data-type=\"glossdef\">\n<p>Open Educational Resources. Teaching, learning and research materials in any medium \u2013 digital or otherwise \u2013 that reside in the public domain or have been released under an open license that permits no-cost access, use, adaptation and redistribution by others with no or limited restrictions.<\/p>\n<\/dd>\n<dt data-type=\"glossterm\"><dfn id=\"dfn-open-educational-practices-oep\">Open Educational Practices (OEP)<\/dfn><\/dt>\n<dd data-type=\"glossdef\">\n<p>A.k.a open pedagogy, OEP is the use of open educational resources (OER) to support learning, or the open sharing of teaching practices with a goal of improving education and training at the institutional, professional, and individual level.<\/p>\n<\/dd>\n<dt data-type=\"glossterm\"><dfn id=\"dfn-renewable-assignments\">Renewable assignments<\/dfn><\/dt>\n<dd data-type=\"glossdef\">\n<p>An assignment or activity in which students are invited to openly license and publicly share the artifact that is created, which has value beyond the students' own learning.<\/p>\n<\/dd>\n<dt data-type=\"glossterm\"><dfn id=\"dfn-student-centred-learning\">Student-centred learning<\/dfn><\/dt>\n<dd data-type=\"glossdef\">\n<p>Is also known as learner-centered education, broadly encompasses methods of teaching that shift the focus of instruction from the teacher to the student.<br \/>\nhttps:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Student-centered_learning<\/p>\n<\/dd>\n<dt data-type=\"glossterm\"><dfn id=\"dfn-udl\">UDL<\/dfn><\/dt>\n<dd data-type=\"glossdef\">\n<p>Universal Design for Learning.
